Looking at Our Brain while Reading Austen

I came across this article today where an English professor is studying a person’s brain activity while reading Austen.

“The experiment focuses on literary attention, or more specifically, the cognitive dynamics of the different kinds of focus we bring to reading.”

It’s a very interesting read! On that note, if you haven’t really read any Austen without it being required reading, I strongly suggest you take another look at:

Pride and Prejudice

Sense and Sensibility

Northanger Abbey

I have read all six of her books and while they are all good, I loved these the most. Have a cup of tea while you read them!
